The Helper and employer may lengthen the contract by a short period, the Helper should apply to the Immigration Department for an extension of stay in Hong Kong. Such extension of stay will only be granted where there are exceptional circumstances. Extension will not normally be granted in respect of renewal of contracts. The Director of Immigration has sole discretion to determine whether an extension of stay will be granted.
Extension of Employment Contract
You may extend the employment contract with
your maid for a further three months upon completion of the contract. You will
have to apply for an extension of the employment contract and visa approval
for your maid.
